A scene of anguish and devastation unfolded in Colombia, following a powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale that struck the western part of the country, with its epicenter in the Chocó region. The powerful tremor was felt in major cities, including Cali, Pereira, and Manizales, while initial reports indicate significant property damage, as well as fatalities and injuries.
As search and rescue operations are underway, Shakira wanted to send a personal message of support to those affected.
