The case involving Stavros Floros and the lawsuit he is said to have filed against the producers of *Survivor* has taken on new dimensions following statements attributed to the reality show’s former winner, Stathis Schizas.
The 22-year-old’s decision to take legal action has brought back into the spotlight the debate over the conditions under which the challenges and filming of a survival reality show take place, as well as the production’s obligations toward participants in the event of a serious injury.
Stavros Floros was seriously injured on May 11, 2026, in Agios Dominikos, during the filming of *Survivor*. The injury involved his left leg and was deemed serious enough to require multiple surgeries.
After receiving initial treatment, the young man was flown to the United States, where he received specialized medical care, before returning to Greece to continue his rehabilitation.
