Once again, Natassa Bofiliou is standing by the side of the children who need us, in a fantastic concert on September 10, at the School for the Blind Amphitheater in Nicosia.
“Metri” is a musical performance by Natassa Bofiliou, Themis Karamouratidis, and Gerasimos Evangelatos, born at a time of transition. Twenty years of shared journey, a cycle that came to a close with “Something Is Burning,” and a new chapter about to begin, serve as the inspiration for a lively exploration of songs, words, and moments—from the core of their repertoire to the first glimpses of what’s to come—in a performance simple in form yet profound in impact.
“One step forward, one step back—we find yet another reason to indulge in a Counting of Life. We count the years, the people, the songs, and the moments that have left their mark on us and on our world.
One year after the explosive run of *Something Is Burning* came to an end, twenty years since our shared journey began, and just a breath away from the opening of its new chapter, we look back at notebooks, conversations, and memories, and indulge in our favorite pastime: a retrospective without a trace of nostalgia, with our eyes fixed on the day ahead.
Preserving the essence of the authentic emotion found in our core repertoire, while adding a small taste of what’s to come, we return to simplicity, paving the way for a new, unburdened era that fully embraces the essence of our art.
In this process of taking stock, reflecting, and counting down all at once, we look forward to seeing you.”
