An 8-year-old boy from Great Britain was injured on the afternoon of Friday, August 7, while swimming at a beach in Chalkidiki.
According to the Coast Guard, the Nea Moudania Port Authority was notified of the child’s injury in the Paliouri coastal area, in the Municipality of Kassandra.

The 8-year-old, while diving into the sea, hit his head on a rock, resulting in an injury.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and the child was transported to the Kassandra Health Center, where he received first aid. He was subsequently discharged.
