A 17-year-old in Thessaloniki was handcuffed after threatening a classmate of the same age that he would leak a video of the beating.
The beating took place last Friday inside a school complex in Kalamaria. The perpetrators are reportedly a 17-year-old and others who participated in both the assault and a theft, as they took a small bag he was carrying.

However, the incident did not end there, as the 17-year-old who was arrested is accused of threatening his classmate again yesterday, telling him that he would post the video of the attack to humiliate him, unless he resigned from the student council.
Ultimately, the minor was arrested following a complaint filed by the victim, and charges were filed against him, including, among others, making threats, causing serious bodily harm, theft, and violation of personal data protection laws.
The 17-year-old is expected to appear before the prosecutor.
