The mystery surrounding the remains found in a suitcase in an abandoned building in Kypseli is becoming increasingly complex, as the forensic examination, due to advanced decomposition, was unable to answer key questions.
The body shows no signs of trauma, according to the findings of the autopsy performed this morning; however, the cause of death remains “undetermined.”
According to Mega, the forensic report indicated that her death occurred five days before she was found dead inside the suitcase. However, the advanced state of decomposition still prevents an answer to the most critical question: what was the cause of death?
She is estimated to have been between 30 and 35 years old, was 1.61 tall, wore a size 36 in shoes, and, according to the findings, appears to have eaten approximately one hour before her death.
Some of these details, however, may be subject to variation. All recent cases of missing women have been included in the investigation, including that of 50-year-old Chinese national Yu Ting.
The authorities are now focusing on the Hellenic Police’s forensic laboratories, where DNA samples and any fingerprints are being analyzed, with the aim of identifying the unknown woman and uncovering what really happened.
