Relatives, friends, and colleagues will bid a final farewell to journalist Maria Antonogiannaki today, Monday, in Heraklion.
The 46-year-old, who worked at KRITI TV and neakriti.gr, died suddenly on Sunday afternoon, when she was found unconscious inside her car in a garage in the Agios Ioannis area.

Maria Antonogiannaki was found on Sunday afternoon inside a parked car, in a garage in the Agios Ioannis neighborhood of Heraklion.
According to information available so far, a security camera recorded her final movements. The 46-year-old appears to enter the apartment building, go up to her apartment, and then go down to the parking lot, where she got into her car.
Shortly afterward, she was found unconscious. Residents called emergency services, and paramedics and a doctor attempted to revive her, but to no avail.
According to KRITI TV, Maria Antonogiannaki suffered a cardiac arrest. Her body is at the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI), where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of her death.

The funeral service will be held today, Monday, at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of St. John on Knossos Avenue. Her body will lie in state at the church starting at 3:30 p.m.
