In the early hours of Monday, August 31, an ATM in Perachora, Corinth, was targeted by unknown individuals, who made off with approximately 91,000 euros.
According to korinthostv.gr, the suspects arrived at the scene around 5:00 a.m. and set off an explosion at the ATM.
The explosion caused serious damage to the ATM, while the perpetrators managed to remove a cash cassette containing approximately 91,000 euros.
Immediately afterward, they fled the scene and escaped in an unknown direction.
The Hellenic Police has launched an extensive investigation to locate and apprehend them, while examining all available evidence that could lead to their identification.
The Corinth Criminal Investigation and Prosecution Department has taken over the preliminary investigation into the case.
