An alarm was raised on Tuesday evening (June 30) in the Aidipsos area when a young girl, who was there on a family vacation, accidentally drank from a bottle containing bleach.

According to Evia Online, the two ambulances from the Istiaia EKAB Unit were at that time transporting patients, so they were not immediately available.

Officers from the Istiaia Police Department transported the child in a patrol car to the Istiaia Health Center, where she received first aid.

According to the local website, the little girl, who is originally from Romania, is currently under the care of doctors.
