An incredible scene unfolded at a festival in the Margarites area of Mylopotamos, Crete.
The village held a celebration for the Feast of the Assumption, attended by all the residents and tourists. The place was packed, but one elderly woman from the village—who is bedridden—was missing.

So some people decided not to leave her alone at home on such a special day.
They brought out a lounge chair, lifted her onto it, and carried her to the celebration while a band played traditional Cretan music.
The elderly woman clearly… loved it, as seen in the video, as she clapped for the musicians from her deck chair.
