An alarm was raised on Monday night (July 13) in Patras when a two-year-old girl became trapped inside a car, prompting an immediate response from the police and the fire department.

According to reports from the local website tempo24.news, the child’s mother was unable to open the vehicle because the locks reportedly malfunctioned, leaving the little girl trapped inside.

Firefighters rushed to the scene and initially attempted to open the doors without causing damage.

When that proved impossible, they carefully broke the vehicle’s window to ensure the child was not injured.

The operation was a success, and the two-year-old was rescued unharmed and then reunited with his relieved mother.
