The Timeline

It should be noted that the family from Moldova was on vacation in Chalkidiki when, on Wednesday, July 15, their car collided head-on with a tanker truck on the provincial Poligiros-Agios Nikolaos road.

The 28-year-old mother and her 6-month-old infant died at the scene, while the 35-year-old father died a few hours later at the Poligiros Hospital.

Seven-year-old Patricia was transported in critical condition from the same hospital to “Papageorgiou” Hospital, where she underwent surgery and was subsequently transferred, intubated, to the Pediatric ICU of the "Ippokratio" Hospital, and days later she was transferred back to "Papageorgiou" Hospital.

It is worth noting that the 7-year-old’s aunt has been by her side from the very beginning and has already expressed her desire to take on her upbringing.
