A new incident involving the woman accused by Roma of a fatal car accident that claimed the life of a 17-year-old in early September—an incident she denies any involvement in—took place in Pyrgos.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to protothema.gr, Roma women “cornered” her outside a supermarket in Pyrgos, shouting at her and threatening her, while one of them held her back and wouldn’t let her leave.
“I’m going to kill her,” one of the Roma women reportedly said, while the woman under attack tried to get away.
Hearing the shouting and threats, local residents called the police. A DIAS unit arrived on the scene to remove the Roma women so that the terrified mother could escape.
This incident adds to the serious allegations made by the woman, who claims she has been targeted following the fatal traffic accident on September 7 in the Lambeti area, where a 17-year-old Roma cyclist lost his life.
She categorically denies any connection to the accident. As she maintains, she was not driving, does not own a car, and has no involvement in the case.
Despite her denials, according to her complaint, she and her family have been targeted by people who believe she was the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
She says she has reached the point where she now fears not only for her own life but also for her children’s. According to reports, she is terrified and lives in constant fear for her own safety and that of her family, as she feels that danger could strike at any moment.
