One of the most famous dogs on Greek social media, Milou, is touching the hearts of thousands of people with her story, as her guardian, Grigoris Korpidis, shared a particularly emotional moment from their daily life.
The little Jack Russell Terrier has gained her own devoted following on Instagram and TikTok, where she starred in videos of her daily life with the content creator, as well as of the trips they took together.

Grigoris Korpidis, also known as Greg Corpidis, has been active on social media and YouTube for years. With 267,000 followers on Instagram and 177,000 subscribers on YouTube, he has managed to build a large community around his content and, of course, Milou.
The dog’s popularity was such that she developed her own brand identity, with the hashtag #tomilou, and the online store tomilou.gr was launched, featuring products such as T-shirts, hats, and books related to their shared journey.
Yesterday, Grigoris Korpidis posted something that moved both his own followers and those of little Jack Russell, who turned 16 in September. A short while ago, he had shared that Milou was facing health issues; it had seemed she was overcoming them, but as it now appears, the time has come for the painful “goodbye.”
“I took my little girl to the sea so she could see it one last time. To give her one more moment in a place I know she loves so much. There are no words to describe how much it hurts,” wrote Milou’s content creator and guardian in his post.
“I hope that everything I’ve shared with you here over the years reminds you to spend quality time with your pets. Discover what makes them happy and give them moments like these. Because our love for them isn’t just about what we feel. It’s also about what we make sure they experience while they’re with us,” he noted.
The post generated a huge response, garnering nearly 300,000 likes and more than 22,000 comments. Thousands of people rushed to express their support for Grigoris, sending messages of love for Milou.
For many, their story serves as a reminder of the special bond that develops between people and their pets, as well as just how precious the simple moments of everyday life can become, especially when the time we have with them seems to be running out.
