An elderly driver caused a commotion on Grimbovo Beach in Nafpaktos, on Thursday evening, when he drove his vehicle the wrong way down a one-way street.

The driver did not immediately realize his mistake and continued for 200 meters against traffic, endangering drivers who were traveling in the correct direction.

As he drove by, however, the elderly driver—who, according to reports, is a 70-year-old resident of Patras—struck two motorcycles that were parked on the side of the road.

Panic ensued at the scene, and the Nafpaktos Port Authority was called; a vehicle and personnel arrived immediately.
