A two-year-old boy was transported to the University Hospital of Heraklion on a ventilator, who fell from the balcony of his home in the Lenika neighborhood of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos on Tuesday morning.
According to information from ERT, the child slipped away from his parents’ supervision and, for reasons unknown at this time, fell from the balcony of his home.

Initially, the boy was taken to Agios Nikolaos Hospital, where he underwent a CT scan. The doctors assessed the severity of his injuries and determined that he needed to be transferred to the University Hospital of Thessaloniki (PAGNI).
The exact circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
