Firefighting forces responding to the fire that broke out in a forested area in the Stefani region of Boeotia have been reinforced. Seventy firefighters are on the scene, including four teams of ground crews from the 1st and 4th EMODE units, 21 vehicles, while 4 helicopters and 3 aircraft have been deployed for aerial firefighting. The Municipality of Tanagra is assisting the Fire Department with water tankers.

According to the Fire Department, the fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. and is spreading in a remote area far from residential zones.
It should be noted that the region is currently at high risk of wildfires (category 3).
