clinic. The exact chronological sequence of events inside the clinic is considered crucial to the investigation.
Authorities are examining when the plasmapheresis procedure began, when the beloved singer suffered a cardiac arrest, when the accused internist arrived on the scene, and what actions were taken before the ambulance service (EKAV) was notified.
The case file reportedly contains contradictions between the testimonies and the timelines derived from the other evidence; for this reason, both defendants are expected to be called upon to provide detailed explanations. Authorities are already examining the sequence of events minute by minute, from Giorgos Mazonakis’s arrival at the clinic until his transport to the hospital.

What the two doctors
claim According to reports, the doctor reportedly claimed that the singer had already been showing severe symptoms since the previous day, citing, among other things, a severe cough and agitation.
She claims that the medical procedure began the following day and that Giorgos Mazonakis suffered a cardiac arrest within the first few minutes of the procedure.
Her co-defendant and husband, an internist, is reported to have claimed that he was not in the clinic when the singer arrived and that he was called to the scene after the singer collapsed. The claims made by the two doctors are part of the evidence being examined by the judicial authorities.
Awaiting toxicology test
results Also at the center of attention is the condition in which Giorgos Mazonakis was found when the paramedics arrived.
According to information that has been made public, the singer had no pulse and was not breathing, while the defibrillator detected asystole. Resuscitation efforts continued even as he was being transported to Elpis Hospital, but it was not possible to revive him.
