It is worth noting that, according to reports, the Authority has explicitly consented in advance to the opening of the safe deposit box and the seizure of any contents that may be found therein.
Of particular significance is the fact that the head of the Independent Authority, acting within the scope of his responsibilities, sent a relevant document both to the Land Registry to identify real estate owned by the defendants, as well as to insurance companies to verify whether they hold any investment products in their names.
Any findings resulting from these procedures are immediately subject to seizure.
However, while the main investigation into the death of the popular singer is in full swing, the Authority is also investigating four financial crimes.
