A new, clear message to Turkey regarding “dialogue without compromising our positions” was sent by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his regular Sunday address.
“Meaningful dialogue cannot coexist with unilateral actions that violate international law,” the prime minister emphasized, noting that “it is essential to maintain open channels of communication with Turkey.”
“After all, geography dictates that we live side by side. I reiterated in my speech to the UN General Assembly that the only institutional framework for resolving our dispute is international law. “However, meaningful dialogue cannot coexist with unilateral actions that violate international law,” he added.
