A 23-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a traffic accident that occurred last night shortly after 11:00 p.m., on the service road of Mikis Theodorakis Avenue, at the intersection with Ierapostolou Kosma Street, in Thessaloniki.
According to police authorities, the motorcycle driven by the 23-year-old collided, under circumstances that remain unclear, with a passenger car driven by a 25-year-old. The 23-year-old was seriously injured and transported to Papanikolaou Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The 25-year-old driver of the car was arrested, while the Thessaloniki Traffic Police Sub-Directorate is conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes of the accident.
