Within a span of just 30 days, a married couple in Patras passed away, leaving their family to endure a double loss.
They were child psychiatrist Maria Gannakopoulou and her husband, Alexander Kapatsoulias, who had died a month earlier at the age of 55.

According to tempo24.news, Maria Gannakopoulou’s funeral is expected to take place today, exactly one month after the loss of her husband.

Alexandros Kapatsoulias was laid to rest on July 23, and the memorial service marking the 40th day since his death was scheduled for this coming Saturday.
However, before the memorial service could take place, his wife, the distinguished child psychiatrist Maria Gannakopoulou, also passed away, one month after the 55-year-old’s death.
The couple is survived by their only daughter, Anna, who is a sophomore in high school.
