A family dispute in Kalambaka took an unbelievable turn, over a shared space, as within a few hours one complaint followed another and police made a series of arrests.
According to reports from the local website trikalavoice.gr, it all began when an 82-year-old woman filed a complaint against her 69-year-old son-in-law, claiming that after a heated argument over the use of a common area, he struck her and then sprayed her with water from a hose.

The 69-year-old was arrested by the authorities but was released a few hours later.
The case, however, was not over. He filed a lawsuit against his 82-year-old mother-in-law and his 59-year-old sister-in-law, accusing them of verbal abuse. The two women were arrested and subsequently released as well.
They filed another complaint against him, and… he was arrested again
The story continued a short time later when the 59-year-old returned to the police station and filed a new complaint against the 69-year-old, this time for verbal abuse and threats. According to her complaint, the incident occurred while he was driving his car.
Thus, the 69-year-old was arrested for the second time that same day, as a family dispute over a shared space escalated into an unprecedented “frenzy” of complaints and arrests.
