The situation has become even more dire due to the major fire that broke out at noon in Derveni, in the municipality of Oreokastro, as, in addition to the man who died and the 40-year-old woman who suffered burns, a minor from the area is also missing.
In a conversation between CNN Greece and the community leader of Liti, George Tola, he confirmed that the missing person is a boy who has been missing from Litis for the past few hours and whose family has reported him missing.
The fact that the child went missing while a major fire was raging in the area makes the situation particularly alarming, prompting an immediate response from the authorities.
The Fire Department has already begun searches following the extinguishing of the major fire, attempting to access areas previously engulfed by the flames.
