16-Year-Old Found Drunk and Carrying a Fake ID at a Bar in Thessaloniki

A 19-year-old man who was with her was arrested

A minor was found intoxicated at a bar in downtown Thessaloniki, where, according to the police, she had entered by presenting a forged police ID card in order to appear as an adult. The 16.5-year-old girl was arrested for forgery.

In connection with the same incident, which occurred last Saturday night, charges were filed against a 19-year-old who was with her for exposing a minor and violations of the law protecting minors from tobacco and alcohol products.

The police investigation revealed that earlier, the two had consumed alcoholic beverages, which the 19-year-old had purchased from a store in the Aristotelous Square area. The case file will be submitted to the competent prosecutor.
