A serious incident occurred on Friday evening (September 25) in Chora, Naxos, when a heated argument between a group of people and a man of Pakistani descent escalated into a brawl, resulting in the man’s injury.
According to information from Cyclades24, there had been disputes between the two sides in recent days, with tensions peaking on Friday night. Initially, there was shouting and a heated verbal exchange before the situation got out of hand.
According to the same reports, a 16-year-old who was part of the group allegedly pulled out a brass knuckle and struck the man with it, causing injuries.
The incident was noticed by another group of people in the area, who alerted the police. However, by the time the police arrived at the scene, those involved had already left.
The injured man was taken to Naxos Hospital to receive the necessary medical care. According to the information available so far, his life is not in danger.
The group of people involved in the incident left the scene after the altercation.
