The victim’s brother, who arrived at the office, asked the police officers if he could go upstairs to the office to see him.
He told reporters that he had been looking for his brother since Tuesday afternoon.
Georgios’s daughters are 16 years old. They had been calling him on the phone, but their father wasn’t answering, so they became worried and went to his office on 3rd September Street in central Athens.
They rang the doorbells to no avail, but a tenant heard their voices and called the building’s doorman, who opened the criminal defense attorney’s office.
