An alarm was raised at the police station in Patras after they were notified that a minor was alone on a 5th-floor balcony.

According to reports, the child had gone out onto the balcony of an apartment building in the Voud Square area and was calling out for his parents.

It was determined that the young child was home alone, and neighbors who heard him immediately alerted the police to ensure the child’s safety.

Upon arriving at the apartment building, the officers immediately went up to the floor where the child was and, from a neighboring apartment, made their way to the balcony where the child was, took the child in their arms, and calmed him down.

They then transported the child in a patrol car to the police station, while investigations are underway to locate the child’s parents.
