A 48-year-old police officer has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing and videotaping his ex-partner in Thessaloniki.
He was arrested on Saturday afternoon following a complaint filed against him by the 51-year-old woman with whom he had previously been in a relationship. Police officers from the T.D.E.E. have filed charges against him for repeated rape, threats, verbal abuse, sexual assault, and violations of laws regarding domestic violence and personal data protection.

According to the woman’s allegations, the police officer, in July, forced her four times through the use of violence to engage in sexual acts against her will, while videotaping her at various times during their cohabitation, also against her will, and furthermore threatened and verbally abused her.
The police officer, based on the case file compiled against him, will be brought before the prosecutor.
