Police officers handcuffed Stefanos Tsitsipas’s aunt after the two dogs at her home in Vari attacked three people. The accused’s sister—and mother of the famous athlete—is being sought under the procedure for offenses committed in the act; she may be abroad but is reportedly the owner of one of the dogs.
The dogs had escaped from the yard of the house when a 76-year-old man was attacked and his relative, whom he had called for help, was injured in the arm.
In addition, a 57-year-old woman was taken to KAT Hospital, where she received stitches in her thigh following the dog attack.
The case file documents a series of bodily injuries resulting from negligence, as approximately nine months to a year ago, there had been similar attacks by the family’s dogs, which were roaming freely.
