Doctors Ilias Theodoropoulos and Ioanna Gaka are now charged with manslaughter with possible intent in connection with the death of Giorgos Mazonakis, as the case moves into a new and clearly more serious phase of the legal proceedings.

At the center of the investigation are the new digital pieces of evidence gathered by the Hellenic Police. and, in particular, the recordings from the blood-drawing machine, which reconstruct, minute by minute, what happened inside the clinic on Karneadou Street.
The two doctors had gone to Evelpidon to provide explanations for what happened during the singer’s treatment, while earlier, the upgrade of the charge to manslaughter with possible intent through lethal exposure was already under consideration, as the investigating judge awaited new digital evidence from the police investigation.
