A commercial aircraft flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv sent out a distress signal a short while ago, while making a turn over Saudi Arabia.
The flydubai flight transmitted the code “7700”—an international emergency signal—according to flight tracking data.
Israeli Air Force fighter jets took off and headed toward the aircraft, according to security sources.

According to the latest reports, the aircraft is approaching Saudi Arabia to land.
