Space explorers and enthusiasts of paranormal phenomena are following with particular interest the developments surrounding the discovery of metal spheres that washed up on a beach in Australia. Theories about their origin are flying thick and fast, with the most prevalent suggesting they are parts of an extraterrestrial spacecraft or debris from a space rocket.

The true nature of the incident was analyzed on the Alpha News program by George Danos, President of the Cyprus Space Exploration Organization, who explained that these are metal canisters originating from the debris of a spacecraft belonging to the Indian Space Agency.

“As they re-enter the atmosphere, sometimes they burn up, and sometimes they don’t. Objects made of such strong steel are difficult to break up in the atmosphere.”

Mr. Danos noted that in the past, major space missions by China and the Soviet Union were “marred” by debris falling into populated areas. However, today such events are planned for.

“They usually plan for them to fall into the ocean, in an area of the Pacific Ocean that they consider a graveyard for space rockets. But there are cases where they may come back out of control and fall in a random area.”

As he said, these particular tanks fell empty into the sea and floated on the water, since they weren’t very heavy.

“They contain a specific fuel used to steer the spacecraft.”
