A motorcyclist in Colombia had a lucky escape when he ran a stop sign at an intersection just as a bus was passing through the city of Bucá at noon on Sunday.
As seen in the security camera footage that captured the moment of the accident, the motorcyclist appears to be speeding through the intersection without braking.

Luckily for him, however, the door of the small bus was open, causing him to be “pinned” inside the vehicle without suffering even a scratch.
At the time of the bizarre accident, only the driver and one passenger were inside the bus, neither of whom was injured.

The bus driver, Inocencio Huspian, described what happened to local media: “As I was crossing the street, I felt the impact, looked back, and saw the man. At first, I thought he was a passenger on the bus who had fallen out of his seat because of the impact, but it turned out he was the one riding the motorcycle.”
According to Houspian, the motorcyclist “was trying to compose himself and said, ‘I’m fine, please forgive me, I’m not hurt,’” and then he got off the bus and walked away.”
