The Houthi-led Ministry of Health in Yemen announced that seven people were killed and 40 were injured, including children, in an attack that struck shops in a market at the Ma’wiya intersection in Taiz Governorate on Sunday.
Later, Yemen’s internationally recognized government said its forces had targeted a Houthi camp and vehicles in the same area.
Three military sources within the Yemeni government told Reuters that Houthi members had recently set up a camp near the market.
