Two 18-year-olds stormed a middle school in the city of Torreón in northern Mexico today, killing the school’s vice principal and injuring three other people, according to Coahuila State Attorney General Federico Fernández.
According to reports from Milenio, two of the three injured are students at the school, and one of them is in serious condition. A large police force rushed to the school and cordoned off the area.
Videos circulating on social media capture the moment the two suspects are arrested. An 18-year-old can be seen holding a sharp object resembling a machete.

The suspects have been arrested and are being questioned. They are brothers and former students of the school in question, Fernández said.

Regarding the weapons used by the perpetrators, the prosecutor clarified that only sharp objects and firecrackers have been found, while the possibility of a firearm being used has been ruled out.
