An unknown object exploded at the main train station in the city of Augsburg, in southern Germany, today, police announced, adding that two people were slightly injured.
The explosion occurred in a building corridor, according to the Bavarian state police, who have rushed to the scene and cordoned off the streets around the train station.

Augsburg is a city located about 55 kilometers from Munich.
