An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale was recorded early Saturday morning in an area 63 kilometers north-northeast of Barhan in Pakistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The seismic activity occurred at 03:06:21, with the epicenter located at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt across a wide area, with no reports—so far—of significant damage or injuries, while authorities are monitoring the development of aftershock activity.
