In just three days, 6-year-old Lian Yunzhi from China managed to break the women’s world record for solving the 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube—twice.
The 6-year-old “Rubik’s Cube wizard” initially clocked an average time of 4.52 seconds, only to improve her performance a few days later, bringing her average down to just 4.27 seconds.
With this achievement, she became the only woman in the world to have achieved an average time under 4.5 seconds in solving the cube.
This impressive achievement did not come by chance. As reported, over the past year, Yunzhi has devoted about two to three hours daily to practicing algorithms, systematically working on her speed and accuracy.
At just six years old, Lian Yunzhi has already achieved a feat that places her at the top of women’s speedcubing, proving that age is no barrier when practice and dedication are at such a high level.
