The Iranian military announced today the deaths of seven soldiers in U.S. strikes carried out in recent hours in southeastern Iran, in a major escalation that jeopardizes the agreement with Washington, while Bushehr, in southwestern Iran, was also targeted.
“This morning, the American terrorist army fired 13 missiles” at a military camp near the city of Iransahr, 1,500 kilometers from Tehran, the military said in a statement, adding that seven soldiers were killed.

According to the same source, the strikes were designed to cause as many casualties as possible, as the 13 missiles struck a guesthouse, guard posts, and living quarters at the base. The military added that there are also casualties and vowed to deliver a “decisive response” to the attack.

The port of Bushehr, in southwestern Iran, home to Iran’s only nuclear power plant, was also targeted today by new U.S. strikes, which, however, caused no casualties, according to the state-run IRNA news agency.
“The American enemy attacked three locations in Bushehr today,” the city’s governor, Mohammad Mozafari, told IRNA.
