Alarm bells rang for Beijing authorities when a small aircraft crashed into the tallest building in the area at noon on Friday (June 26). As a result of the crash, which occurred around 6 p.m. local time, the small aircraft was completely destroyed and its debris scattered across the ground.
The impact also shattered two windows of the skyscraper. Footage of the incident shows the plane’s debris falling vertically to the ground, while thick smoke appeared to be rising from the ground floor of the building.

So far, the exact number of casualties remains unclear, as reported by Sun.
The skyscraper is located in the central business district of the Chaoyang district and is often referred to as “China Zun”; it stands 1,700 feet tall. According to local media, the plane was a B-12PP aircraft.
The pilot had taken off from Xifosi Airport just half an hour earlier and was preparing to return to the airport to land when the aircraft suddenly veered off course.
No one inside the building, which was evacuated, was injured.
