In a post on Truth Social, the U.S. president asserts that the U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz “is a wall of steel, and Iran can’t do anything about it.”

He describes Iran as a country that no longer has an army or an air force and that leaves its soldiers unpaid, while the leadership of the Revolutionary Guards “has been decimated.”
“All they have is fake news and 300% inflation,” he says of Iran, repeating this claim of economic collapse.
And he concludes, somewhat unexpectedly, with an invocation… to Allah: “Iran is all talk and no action; it is no longer the ‘bully’ of the Middle East. Glory to Allah!”
In his post, Donald Trump writes:
