Parliamentary elections in the West Bank are postponed

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued a decree today postponing the parliamentary elections that had been scheduled for November 28, 2026.

The decree sets the date for the elections as September 11, 2027, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.
