Yossi Karadi, director general of the Israeli National Cybersecurity Authority, told the German newspaper Die Welt that in June 2025, during Israeli military operations against Iran, Israeli authorities recorded approximately 1,600 hostile cyber incidents. In the same month of 2026, that number had skyrocketed to approximately 4,800 incidents, he told the newspaper.
