Six people have been killed in Ukrainian strikes in Russia’s Belgorod region, while Russian bombings today in various parts of Ukraine have claimed the lives of at least eight people, according to local authorities.
In the city of Sebekino in Belgorod, near the border with Ukraine, five civilians were killed and 23 were injured when a Ukrainian drone struck a bus, as announced by Regional Governor Alexander Suvaev. The dead include four women and a teenager, he clarified, adding that three of the injured are in critical condition.
Shuvaev later reported that a Ukrainian strike on a car wash in the city of Belgorod killed one person and injured ten others.
In Ukraine, authorities reported that at least eight people were killed and dozens were injured as a result of Russian strikes in various parts of the country.
Specifically, three people were killed and eight were injured at a business facility that was bombed in Odessa (southwest), regional governor Oleks Kipper reported via Telegram, sharing images showing destroyed vehicles and firefighters responding to the scene.
In Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region (east), two people were killed and nine were injured, announced Regional Governor Oleksandr Khanza.
One person was killed and nine were injured in a Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia (south), according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.
In Kramatorsk, one of the two major cities in the eastern Donetsk region that remain under Ukrainian control, two people were killed and four were wounded in a Russian bombardment, police reported.
Seven people were injured in a Russian attack on Kherson in southern Ukraine, according to the regional administration.
