Outgoing British Prime Minister Kir Starmer said he was “proud” of the work accomplished during his two years in office, noting that the country is “stronger and fairer” than when he took office, during his final speech at Downing Street.

“The United Kingdom is stronger and fairer today than it was two years ago,” said Keir Starmer, who is handing over power to Andy Burnham.
“I’m leaving with a smile, and I’m leaving proud of everything we’ve accomplished,” he said.
