Several people were injured in the small town of Holbæk, Denmark, in a shooting incident that, according to the police, may be related to a settling of scores among criminals.
In a statement, the police said that officers had been deployed to various locations in the port town of Holbæk, located on the island of Zealand, about 70 kilometers west of Copenhagen, following “a shooting in which several people were injured.”
“At this time, we cannot provide further information on their condition,” the police added.

The most likely scenario is that of “a settling of scores between criminal organizations,” they clarified.
According to reports, the shooting took place in a residential area.
Initial reports indicate that the perpetrators were seen fleeing the scene of the shooting in a white car, police said, and they appealed for witnesses to come forward with information about the incident.
