Authorities in Britain have made yet another arrest in connection with the murder of former minister Ann Wintecombe.
The suspect is a 28-year-old British national who was arrested on Saturday night (July 11) at an address in South Yorkshire and is currently in police custody.
Police estimate that the former minister had been dead in her home for nearly 24 hours before her body was discovered.
They reported that they are working on the assumption that the 78-year-old former politician was attacked at noon on Wednesday (July 9).

Her body was discovered on Thursday morning (July 10).
A 26-year-old man, who had been arrested on Friday (July 10) as part of the investigation, was released without charges early Saturday morning and is no longer a subject of the investigation.
The politician’s family had been informed of the latest developments, as confirmed by the police.
A significant police presence remains around her property in Devon over the weekend, while forensic experts were spotted outside her home.
