Kyiv was the target of a Russian missile attack in the early hours of the morning, where at least six people were injured, according to local authorities.

Air raid sirens sounded several minutes after the first explosion was heard, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP) reporters in the Ukrainian capital.
“The enemy is attacking the capital with missiles,” wrote Timur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, on Telegram, urging residents to seek safe shelter.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko later reported that six people were injured, three of whom were taken to the hospital.
