A series of unusual videos, including one created using artificial intelligence in which he appears to be chasing and playing with a tiger, was posted by U.S. President Donald Trump on his Truth Social account late Tuesday night.
This post came just a few hours after Trump had shared a real video of a fatal tiger attack on a man who had entered the animal’s enclosure at a wildlife parkin northern England—a move that sparked strong reactions.
In the AI-generated video, posted shortly before midnight, Trump appears to be intimidating and chasing a tiger. He then appears to playfully wrestle with the wild animal, and the video ends with the two of them embracing, set to the tune of the well-known song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.”

Shortly thereafter, Trump posted again, this time with a video in which he is depicted as a lion fighting hyenas, while the narrator refers to him as the “king of the jungle.” The video alternates between footage of the U.S. president’s speeches and images of Democratic leaders, including former U.S. President Barack Obama, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Throughout the video, the narrator refers to “jackals and hyenas” that attack and mock him, and at the end he is heard saying that “every now and then, the lion has to show the jackals who he really is.”
Reactions to the actual video of the deadly attack
This was preceded, on Tuesday afternoon, by posts from Trump featuring actual footage of the fatal tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, England. The incident occurred last Saturday, October 10, when a man entered the animal’s fenced-off enclosure and was attacked, resulting in his death.
The U.S. president accompanied the video of the attack with the message: “Never mess with nature! President DJT.” This was followed by another post featuring a compilation of videos showing wild animals attacking people, although some of the footage appears to have been generated using artificial intelligence as well.
According to Forbes, these posts were made while Trump was in Alaska, where he was attending a political rally in Wasilla, about 65 kilometers north of Anchorage.
The release of the videos sparked controversy, particularly because the footage initially shared by the U.S. president was linked to an actual fatal incident. South Yorkshire Police had even urged the public not to share the videos of the attack circulating online, out of respect for the deceased and his family.
